Mean Girls as a franchise is extremely important to me. It had been my favourite movie for a pretty long time, but one day I suddenly started to really hyperfixate on it and now I’ve grown an extremely deep appreciation for it.The 2004 film and its 2017 musical adaptation, along with its 2024 musical movie mean everything to me. I don’t have the proper words to describe just how much it has impacted my life. I find a lot of joy in mean girls’ story + characters, and the simple act of just thinking about it can make me dizzy with happiness.I love diving into the characteristics and behaviours of the characters, I am incredibly intrigued by how each character is written and I have a lot of thoughts about all of them. I love researching about the film + musical and collecting trivia on it, I find learning about mg facts super fun! I really enjoy picking apart characters and their relationships, since the different dynamics within the movie are the parts I enjoy the most.

REGINA GEORGE

Regina George is my favourite character from Mean Girls (big surprise), and I appreciate her on an even bigger level than I do the rest of the characters (though I do love them as well!). She is an extremely well written character and I was immediately magnetised towards her when I first watched the movie a loooong time ago. She is such a fascinating character and I especially adore studying her character. Regina is not a good person, not by a long shot— however, I really do like the way she works in both the movie and the musical. I know I sound like a broken record but she is so enthralling, and understanding her character has been such an exhilarating delight. I love drawing her, I love writing her, and I love reading about her. I just love everything about Regina!!

CADINA

Cadina is the ship between Cady Heron and Regina George, and oh wow do I have a lot to talk about when it comes to these two. I am the self declared #1 fan of Cadina, being the person who has written the most fics about them as well as having drawn the most ship art (some are unposted, I have 100+ doodles) of them. I think about them on a daily basis (and by that I mean they are literally permanently engraved into my brain). I will forever be amazed at how much their relationship is explored in both the movie and musical. Their relationship is such a roller coaster ride, and I am so engrossed in how they work. To avoid making this longer than it already is, I won’t bore you with more details, but if you want to know more about these two please dm me!! I would love to talk about them!Mean Girls has made me so much happier as a person, and I’m beyond grateful that I have something like this to wake up to every day! :)
